About JohnJohn was born and raised in Boston, MA and joined his first band as the lead singer at the age of 16. During his time in Boston john was a part of many bands on keyboard and vocals.
John moved to San Diego in 1984 and started out in his new home by playing many solo gigs at The Boathouse and Tom Ham's Lighthouse on Harbor Island He formed a band called Island Breeze in 2000 and began playing at several yacht clubs and at Humphrey's Backstage Live on Shelter Island. His most recent band is "Trade Winds" and they are still performing at Humphrey's. Several years ago John had the privilege of singing a song on stage with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre |
Who I Am |
I first began singing at the age of ten when, in the fifth grade, I was chosen to sing a song at a school holiday assembly. It was my first taste of performing in front of an audience and after that first round of applause I was hooked.

Recent History |
For the past several years I have been doing solo shows at The Old Venice Restaurant and Fiddler's Green on Shelter Island in San Diego and Sunshine Mountain Vineyard in San Marcos and private gigs as well as playing at Humphrey's Backstage Live and numerous corporate and private gigs with my band Trade Winds.
